Actor Casey Affleck walked the red carpet at the 2017 Academy Awards in much the same way as he walked every other red carpet this awards season: sporting long locks fastened into a low bun and a beard befitting a man whose primary profession involves bears.

Affleck is nominated for Best Actor for playing Lee Chandler in Manchester by the Sea. Aside from this, he was previously nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his role in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford in 2007.
